- First 18 years grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada
- Next five years attended Montana State University in Bozeman
- The next fifteen years Bend, Oregon
- Spent 10 of those years teaching at Tumalo Community School
- 3 years at Redmond High School
- Presently at Ridgeview High School in Redmond Oregon
