Happy Friday 12th grade parents,
I wanted to share a couple of Important Dates coming up for our Senior Students.
–Today is the early registration deadline for taking the November 3rd SAT. After today there will be an additional late fee. Students needing to take or retake an SAT should plan for the November SAT as early college application deadlines are already approaching which may qualify them for scholarships from their college. Register at collegeboard.org
–Sign up to take the ACT at act.org
–FAFSA opened up October 1st. The FAFSA form helps students qualify for federal loans, federal grants, and federal work-study. Get started at studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa
–Doug Miner will be at school October 17th and 18th in the Commons to collect Cap/Gown and other graduation gear orders. Deadline for cap and gown orders is November 30th. Extra ordering packets can be found in the College and Career Center.
–Senior Pictures for the yearbook and Baby pictures for the Graduation slide show are due by November 1st. Pictures can be submitted starting next week on the Ridgeview High School website, then click on the Senior Events and Information Link. Please make sure to name your pictures with studens Last Name, First Name
–Oregon Promise Grant is now open. The Oregon Promise is a state grant that helps cover tuition at any Oregon Community College for recent high school graduates and GED test graduates. Learn more at oregonstudentaid.gov
–Lots of useful information and links are now available at the Ridgeview High School Website, click on the Senior Events and Information link.
