Where: Ridgeview (JV Field and Track)
Cost: $25 (bring on first day)
What to bring: You will need to bring the following: cleats, running shoes, appropriate layers of clothing, water, and a snack.
Additional Information: Camp is not required. However, it is strongly encouraged as a boost of fitness for the season and tryouts as well as a great environment to get to know players from the program before tryouts. If you use an inhaler bring it with you daily.
Camp will be strenuous, so to help minimize stress on your feet and legs please evaluate the condition of your footwear. Shin splints are common and in many cases avoidable with proper footwear. I suggest a good pair of running shoes and cleats (not worn out/old), as well as a removable insole that can be placed in either to help support the arch.
