Incoming Freshmen/New Student Information

Dear Future Raven Families,

Welcome to Ridgeview High School, Home of the Mighty Ravens! We hope this information will answer your questions about enrolling at Ridgeview High School and what our school has to offer.

Redmond School District’s Open Enrollment window is from March 1, 2017 – April 1, 2017.  In order to assure your transfer request is approved, please complete a 2017-18 Assigned School Transfer Form within this window of time. Transfers submitted outside of the Open Enrollment window are processed on a case-by-case basis.  We also invite you to tour our school. Please contact us at 541.504.3600 to schedule a tour. Tour dates and times are already pre-planned from mid-March to mid-April.

If you currently attend Obsidian Middle School or Tumalo Community School and Ridgeview is your boundary high school, then you are already scheduled to attend Ridgeview HS beginning in Fall 2017 and no further paperwork is necessary.  If your intention is to enroll at another high school (outside of your boundary high school), please contact your destination school and complete the required paperwork to secure your place in their enrollment

Obsidian and Tumalo Families:  Your student should have completed the blueScheduling Next Year’s Classes” form, and turned them into Ridgeview on Future Freshmen Day (held 2/28/17).  If not, please contact our Registrar, Shelley Marks, at 541.504-3600 so we can ensure we have their class requests.

Please review our Course Catalog Webpage and the Class Information Videos (under each course description). These videos and course summaries will help explain each course’s focus, prerequisites, and more.

Documents from the New 9th Grade Parent Information Night (held 2/22/17):  Diploma Requirements. 9th Grade Mock Schedule , 9th Grade Scheduling Next Year Classes Form , 8th Grade Parent Scheduling Information Slideshow .

Feel free to contact us at 541.504.3600 or our Counseling Department’s Registrar, Shelley Marks, to determine how to best answer your questions.
